The VORTIS series adopts 3 types of pavilions of different geometry and dispersion:
• H60 x V40 degrees
• H90 x V55 degrees
Asymmetrical flag dispersing on 60 degrees up, 90 degrees down, this on a constant vertical coverage of 55 degrees. Ideal for installation projects with limited space or budgets.
These pavilions are adaptable to each VORTIS speaker model, representing a total of 36 possible combinations available to architects and installers to meet all broadcast needs within the desired frequency response range. A 90 degree rotation of the horn is possible for horizontal use of the speaker. The Vortis' trapezoidal shape allows horizontal or vertical cluster installation with optional dedicated accessories and precise projection to the audience to minimize unwanted reflections to the wall and ceiling. Their elegant design will ensure a perfect integration in places with modern or classic architecture. For low frequency reinforcement, a combination with the Installation Line subwoofers is recommended. VORTIS are available in all RAL colours (including front panel). Finally, Vortis speakers are equipped with passive filters as standard. FIRNET or DSM2060 controllers can be used to optimize rendering and increase protection against possible overloads. The setting parameters as well as the acoustic simulation data can be downloaded online.
